{"id":31678,"date":"2022-10-18T05:54:49","date_gmt":"2022-10-18T09:54:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/?p=31678"},"modified":"2022-10-18T06:28:50","modified_gmt":"2022-10-18T10:28:50","slug":"thomas-rhett-to-release-music-video-with-katy-perry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/blogs\/country-music-news\/2022\/10\/thomas-rhett-to-release-music-video-with-katy-perry\/","title":{"rendered":"Thomas Rhett To Release Music Video With Katy Perry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Thomas Rhett surprised fans on Sunday, October 16th with the announcement that the video for his collaboration with Katy Perry, called &#8220;Where We Started,&#8221; will be released on Tuesday, October 18th.<\/p>\n<p>The song is the title track of Thomas&#8217; latest album, which was released in April.<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"insta-iframe\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CjytasMOW_Q\/embed\/captioned\" width=\"auto\" height=\"auto\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display:inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height:0;\"  class=\"mce_SELRES_start\"><\/span><\/iframe>\n<p>The idea to add Katy&#8217;s voice to the song came from an executive at Thomas&#8217; record label, and he admits that while he loved the idea, he thought it was a long shot.<\/p>\n<p>Thomas loved working with the pop star and said it was all a little unbelievable when he thinks back on his teen years.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;It was so surreal talking to someone who, I don\u2019t know, when I was like 16, 17 years old, Katy\u2018s music was everybody\u2019s anthem, everybody\u2019s jam, and everybody\u2019s got a favorite Katy Perry song. And so, when she said that she was gonna sing on the song with me, I was shocked. And it turned out so beautiful. One of the most incredible string arrangements I\u2019ve heard. I remember when I got Katy\u2018s vocal back I was blown away.
