{"id":34275,"date":"2023-04-13T04:57:05","date_gmt":"2023-04-13T08:57:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/?p=34275"},"modified":"2023-04-13T04:57:05","modified_gmt":"2023-04-13T08:57:05","slug":"first-girl-in-over-100-years","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/blogs\/good-news\/2023\/04\/first-girl-in-over-100-years\/","title":{"rendered":"First Girl In Over 100 Years"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Michigan parents Carolyn and Andrew Clark welcomed newborn Audrey over two weeks ago, on St. Patrick\u2019s Day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Her arrival marks not only a new chapter for the couple, but it turns out that Audrey is actually the first daughter to be born on Andrew\u2019s side of the family since 1885, according to his family\u2019s records.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Carolyn admitted she heard the jaw-dropping tale a decade ago when she started dating Andrew \u2014 and didn\u2019t quite believe her ears. \u201cI asked his parents to confirm that information, and they\u2019re like, \u2018Oh yeah, no, we haven\u2019t had a girl in our direct line,&#8217;\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">She continued, \u201cHe\u2019s had uncles and cousins that have had girls, but in his lineage, there has not been a girl.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">They had the family over in September for a party, where they bit into custom cookies to reveal the baby\u2019s gender.
