Later, his girlfriend spotted the ticket in his car, checked the number online, and told him he\u2019d won $25,000 \u2013 a year for life!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Unbelievably, he still didn\u2019t claim his prize for a few more months because they \u201cwent south for the winter a few days later\u201d.
