Try Writing a To-Do List Before Bed<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Obviously, anxiety is one of the main things that keeps us up at night.\u00a0 When you’re stressed, you just lie there thinking of all the stuff you need to do the next day.\u00a0 So it makes sense why this might help . . .<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A new study found the easiest way to fall asleep faster is to make a TO-DO LIST before bed, of all the stuff you need to accomplish over the next few days.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Psychologists at Baylor University monitored the sleep patterns of about 60 people between the ages of 18 and 30.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Half of them spent five minutes writing to-do lists before they went to bed.\u00a0 The other half made a list of all the things they’d accomplished that day.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n And the ones who made to-do lists fell asleep nine minutes faster.\u00a0 Which might not seem like much, but it’s on par with what some prescription sleep meds can do.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n It doesn’t have to be a long list.\u00a0 Even a few bullet points can help.\u00a0 But it’s even better if you’re thorough.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n People who wrote longer, more specific to-do lists fell asleep faster than people who wrote shorter, more general ones.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n ______________________________________________________________________________<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/u><\/strong>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n RANDOM REPORT <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u00a0______________________________________________________________________________________________<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n Chocolate Is a Better Cough Suppressant Than Cough Medicine?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n We’re right in the middle of cold-and-flu season.\u00a0 So, here’s a hack you’ll definitely want to try if you’re fighting a cough . . .<\/p>\n <\/p>\n According to a new study, CHOCOLATE might be a better cough suppressant than actual cough medicine.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Researchers in England took over people with coughs and either gave them cough medicine with codeine, or a chocolate-based medicine called “Rococo.”<\/p>\n And two days later, the people who used the chocolatey stuff reported a “significant improvement” in their symptoms compared to the people who took normal cough medicine.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n A previous study found it might have to do with a certain alkaloid in chocolate that works as a cough suppressant.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n So does this mean that just EATING chocolate can help with a cough?\u00a0 Apparently the answer is YES, it can.
