One pub cooked a steak in a pan inside a vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>While a cool-down was expected this weekend, it won&#8217;t be long-lived.<\/p>\n<p>The heat wave has been blamed for massive die-offs of bat\u00a0and\u00a0fish populations, and losses for farmers who are seeing fruit still on the tree cook from the inside out.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>______________________________________________________________________________________<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Guy Was Accidentally Invited to a Stranger&#8217;s Bachelor Party . . . Now He&#8217;s Going<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a 35-year-old guy named Will Novak in Phoenix, and he recently got an email about a bachelor party for a guy named Angelo.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Will doesn&#8217;t know Angelo, and it turns out Angelo&#8217;s friends sent him the invitation by mistake . . . they meant to send it to their friend who&#8217;s also named William Novak, and his email was only one letter different than Will&#8217;s.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But when Will read the email, he thought the bachelor party sounded GREAT.\u00a0 The guys were going on a ski trip in Vermont and they&#8217;re supposed to, quote, &#8220;bring . . . &#8217;80s attire [and] ridiculous awesome get-ups.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So Will wrote back and said, quote, &#8220;I am Will Novak who lives in Arizona.\u00a0 Vermont seems like a very far way for me to travel for the bachelor party of a guy I&#8217;ve never met.\u00a0 That being said:\u00a0count me in!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He set up a Go Fund Me\u00a0to pay for the plane ticket, car rental, lift tickets, and a wedding present for Angelo . . . and because his situation was so ridiculous, he hit his $750 goal in a few hours.\u00a0\u00a0<em><strong>(Will says any additional money raised will go into a fund for Angelo&#8217;s first child.)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Will Novak got off the plane at Boston&#8217;s Logan International Airport Friday evening and was greeted in baggage claim with six cases of beer from a local brewer.<\/p>\n<p>The 35-year-old Phoenix man doesn&#8217;t drink.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When he went to pick up his rental car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car, they upgraded him to an $75,000+ Maserati SUV. When the two-night bachelor party wrapped on Sunday, Novak was up to 11,700 Instagram followers and exhausted, un showered and still dressed in the white-and-rainbow striped ski suit he wore most of the weekend.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And the trip wasn&#8217;t over. Novak&#8217;s flight back to Phoenix Sunday was canceled due to storms.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Novak, said he met Angelo at 3 a.m. Saturday morning when he arrived at the group&#8217;s ski chalet. Despite the social media storm surrounding the accidental bachelor party guest, Novak said Onello didn&#8217;t find out until shortly before the party. The organizers wanted to keep it a secret.\u00a0 The group didn&#8217;t get to sleep the first night until 5:30 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Novak slept through a ski lesson he had scheduled for 7:30 a.m. at Okemo Mountain Resort.<\/p>\n<p>Novak&#8217;s only mishap: he ran into a man on one run and they tumbled together into a fence.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I would call it more of a fender bender than a crash,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Will wasn&#8217;t so lucky.
