{"id":37306,"date":"2023-11-27T05:55:16","date_gmt":"2023-11-27T10:55:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/?p=37306"},"modified":"2023-11-27T05:47:28","modified_gmt":"2023-11-27T10:47:28","slug":"garth-brooks-nashville-honky-tonk-opens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/blogs\/country-music-news\/2023\/11\/garth-brooks-nashville-honky-tonk-opens\/","title":{"rendered":"Garth Brooks Nashville Honky Tonk Opens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The day after Thanksgiving, about a thousand fans with an invitation lined up for blocks to see Garth Brooks perform at the opening of his new Nashville venue.<\/p>\n<p>Some were waiting for up to 18 hours.<\/p>\n<p>Friends in Low Places Bar and Honky-Tonk, was jam-packed to see Garth play a 55-minute set.<\/p>\n<p>Ronnie Dunn and Trisha Yearwood performed for the grand opening too.<\/p>\n<p>Garth explained that it\u2019s not only a great place to see a show, but it was also built to accommodate the entertainer:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI\u2019m going to admit this \u2013 it\u2019s too nice! What the hell \u2013 ain\u2019t no honky-tonk I was raised in that looks like this, right? There was no \u2018green room.\u2019 There was no \u2018backstage.\u2019 No \u2018retractable stage\u2019 \u2013 this thing can go all the way into the wall in case you just want to DJ here and open up the dance floor. It\u2019s crazy. The sound system is amazing \u2013 they have a booth over here for sound! Are you kidding me? So\u2026yeah.
