Garth Brooks has spent a lot of time working on his new bar “Friends in Low Places” which opened in Nashville earlier this month.<\/p>\n
But, according to early reviews, some people don\u2019t think it\u2019s that great.<\/p>\n
A few of the complaints were that it was too expensive, the food wasn’t great, and it didn’t feel like a country bar.<\/p>\n
Some lady mentioned paying $37 for two drinks, while another person said,<\/p>\n
“This is certainly no honky tonk bar. Looks like a club in NYC.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
But the major complaint, sprinkled into a lot of reviews, was the music choice.<\/p>\n
One woman said she was quote,<\/p>\n
“very disappointed. [It was] not country at all . . . hipster music the whole time.” And another lady was offended that they were playing “Apple Bottom Jeans”.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
In his defence, a few people loved that it wasn’t playing country music all the time. One user said it had, quote,<\/p>\n
“Good vibes. And Nashville is MUSIC CITY, not just country.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
