Lainey Wilson’s new album “Whirlwind” is out today, Friday, August 23.<\/p>\n
To celebrate, here are some facts you might not have known about Lainey.<\/p>\n
1. When she was 9 years old, her mom bought her a pair of blue, leopard print bell bottoms. She has joked that since then, quote, “I don’t think anyone’s ever seen my ankles.”<\/p>\n
2. When she was a Hannah Montana impersonator, she would make around $400 bucks a gig. Sometimes they’d even let her sing original songs, too.<\/p>\n
3. Lainey lived in a camper van when she was first trying to make it in Nashville. She said when a big storm would come in, she thought she was going to get blown away.<\/p>\n
4. Luke Combs would actually visit Lainey in that trailer. They wrote Luke’s song “Sheriff You Want To” there with Lainey on backup vocals.<\/p>\n
5. Lainey has a “no-tongue” rule for kissing on-screen. This one isn\u2019t a fact, just a conspiracy. At\u00a0the 2023 ACM Awards, she won an award, and she awkwardly hugged her boyfriend Devlin “Duck” Hodges.
