{"id":41289,"date":"2024-10-22T08:45:26","date_gmt":"2024-10-22T12:45:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/?p=41289"},"modified":"2024-10-22T05:19:14","modified_gmt":"2024-10-22T09:19:14","slug":"zach-bryan-doesnt-want-to-be-a-country-musician","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfcofm\/blogs\/country-music-news\/2024\/10\/zach-bryan-doesnt-want-to-be-a-country-musician\/","title":{"rendered":"Zach Bryan Doesn&#8217;t Want To Be A Country Musician"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It seems like every artist is trying to find their way into Country music, but Zach Bryan is apparently looking for a way out.<\/p>\n<p>He recently sat down for an interview with his idol, Bruce Springsteen, where they took turns asking each other questions about their careers.<\/p>\n<p>It was a very friendly chat between the two, but towards the end Zach said to Bruce&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I&#8217;m not insulting your genre, but when I listen to your music. If you put different production to this, it&#8217;s a Country song. All of &#8217;em. And that&#8217;s why I don&#8217;t want to be a Country musician.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Bruce said that was fascinating,&#8221; to which\u00a0 Zach responded&#8230;<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;I don&#8217;t want to be a Country musician. Everyone calls me it. I want to be a songwriter. You are a quintessential songwriter . . . No one calls Bruce Springsteen a Rock musician.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He said that last part while drawing an imaginary box with his fingers. So, it seems like Zach doesn&#8217;t want to be boxed in, or labelled as anything.<\/p>\n<p>And to be fair, he&#8217;s already pretty distant from the Country music world.
