A UPS driver in North Carolina saved\u00a0an elderly man’s life on Tuesday.\u00a0 He noticed the guy hadn’t gotten the package he dropped off on Friday.\u00a0 Eventually he found the guy inside, having a medical emergency.\u00a0 He’d been on the floor for days.\u00a0 The driver talked about it with the local news, and got a little emotional.\u00a0 He said he develops friendships with people, and with some elderly rural customers, the only people they see during the week are the FedEx guy, UPS, or the mailman.<\/p>\n

Well, you\u2019re in luck.\u00a0\u00a0Researchers at the National Institute of Water and Atmospheric Research have found it \u2014 inside a piece of seal poop.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n NIWA scientists have posted video from the still-working stick on social media, in the hopes of reuniting it with its owner. According to NIWA\u2019s website, the poo \u2014 or \u201cscat\u201d \u2014 was collected by a vet examining a sick leopard seal and sent to marine biologist Krista Hupman, for her study on these arctic predators.
