Justin Moore\u2019s latest number-one song, \u201cThis Is My Dirt\u201d is a very personal song to him.<\/p>\n
He says it’s his own life story about the land he lives on in Arkansas with his family to this day.<\/p>\n
\u201cMy grandfather, my mom\u2019s dad, when he was born, his mother passed. And so, he was raised by his grandpa on this piece of property. I was raised here. My mom and dad raised me here and they still live here on the property. And so, when I was looking for land, when we moved back home from Tennessee, my grandfather, he said, \u2018Why don\u2019t you just buy this?\u2019 Certainly, it was a pretty good discount. I did buy it though, it wasn\u2019t given to me. But I thought the opportunity to be able to raise my kids \u2013 now that would be, I don\u2019t know how many generations, that would be three I guess, or four, that it\u2019s been in our families. So, \u2018This Is My Dirt,\u2019 it\u2019s really autobiographical, to be honest.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
