This time it&#8217;s the &#8220;boiling water challenge.&#8221; It was inspired by freezing temperatures during the polar vortex, and people started posting themselves trying it during the recent polar vortex. To partake you need to take a pot of boiling water outside and throw it in an arch shape over your head. If it&#8217;s cold enough it&#8217;ll turn to snow before it hits you, if not, you&#8217;ll get burned. In Chicago at least eight people between the ages of 3 and 53 were admitted to a hospital with burns after they weren&#8217;t so lucky.<\/p>\n<p><strong>______________________________________________________________________________<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a college student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro whose name is Maddie.\u00a0 And lately, she and her roommates have been worried they might have a GHOST in the house. GOOD NEWS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A guy named Dan Laguardia was at a car dealership near San Diego last Tuesday to trade his old Scion hatchback in for a BMW.\u00a0 Pretty nice upgrade.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And he noticed a younger woman named Kayla Cooper, who was also trying to buy a car . . . a much-cheaper Toyota Corolla.\u00a0 But she walked out in tears.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It turns out she&#8217;s working two jobs to put herself through nursing school.\u00a0 And she&#8217;s been borrowing cars from friends to get to work.\u00a0 So she was hoping to get her own car, but couldn&#8217;t cover the down payment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So after she left, Dan asked the sales guy if he still had her number.\u00a0 Then he told him to call her and tell her to come back . . . because he wanted to GIVE her his trade-in.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>His Scion looks like it&#8217;s probably five or 10 years old, but still in pretty good shape.\u00a0 So he probably could have gotten a few thousand bucks for it.\u00a0 But he decided it was worth more to her than it was to him.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When Kayla got back to the dealership, she didn&#8217;t believe it at first.\u00a0 But Dan made it official . . . signed the title over . . . and gave her the keys.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He says he was happy to do what he could to help her out.\u00a0 Adding, quote, &#8220;If everybody did that for everybody else, we\u2019d be in a much better According to\u00a0<em>The Tennessean<\/em>, the Historic Zoning Commission passed a policy in August 2017 banning colored exterior lights in districts with historic overlays.<\/p>\n<p>The Historic Zoning Commission is seeking an injunction ordering the venue to correct the lighting issue, claiming that it was only approved for white exterior lighting.<\/p>\n<p>In the meantime, Blake is gearing up for his\u00a0<em>Friends &amp; Heroes\u00a0<\/em>tour with special guest\u00a0<strong>Lauren Alaina<\/strong>, along with\u00a0<strong>The Bellamy Brothers, John Anderson\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0<strong>Trace Adkins\u00a0<\/strong>on select dates.
