Post Malone left another big tip, this time in New Orleans during Super Bowl weekend, but the bartender almost got CHEATED out of it.<\/p>\n
He showed up at a bar called The Howlin’ Wolf on Saturday, spent $25, and left the bartender a $2,000 tip.<\/p>\n
But when she went to cash out, the bar’s payment provider wouldn’t give her the money.<\/p>\n
Her name is Heather Foster, and the bar uses use Square for credit card payments, but because the tip was so big, it triggered a red flag in their system.<\/p>\n
Instead of $2,000, they only gave her $200.<\/p>\n
But the good news is Square eventually got it all squared away. Her boss made some calls, and then the local news picked up on it.<\/a><\/p>\n Square finally approved the full $2,000 tip on Monday.<\/p>\n They said that “some sellers are subject to tip limits to protect them from fraud and other bad activity.” But the bar shouldn’t have any issues going forward.<\/p>\n Heather’s message to Post was, “Thanks for coming to New Orleans” and “next beer’s on me.” She said Bud Light really is his drink of choice.<\/p>\n
