He co-wrote the tune with his buddies Dallas Davidson and Ashley Gorley, and said it describes exactly how he grew up in Georgia.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI think that what makes me country is where I was raised \u2014 Leesburg, Georgia \u2014 how I was brought up saying \u2018Yes sir,\u2019 \u2018No sir,\u2019 \u2018Yes, ma\u2019am,\u2019 \u2018No, ma\u2019am,\u2019 hopefully with manners and raised with a work ethic and raised in the outdoors fishing and hunting and playing sports. But yeah, I would say definitely it starts with my small-town upbringing and how we were raised; church on Sundays as much as we could. But just enjoying life and living life in a small town.\u201d<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"insta-iframe\" src=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/BuUypSHlIVX\/embed\/captioned\" width=\"auto\" height=\"auto\" frameborder=\"0\" scrolling=\"no\"><span data-mce-type=\"bookmark\" style=\"display:inline-block; width: 0px; overflow: hidden; line-height:0;\"  class=\"mce_SELRES_start\"><\/span><\/iframe>\n<p>Luke is nominated for Entertainer of the Year, an award he\u2019s taken home twice, and Single of the Year for \u201cMost People Are Good\u201d at the 54th Annual ACM Awards, airing live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on April 7th at 8 pm on CBS.<\/p>\n<p>Luke and his fellow American Idol judges Katy Perry and Lionel Richie will appear on ABC&#8217;s Good Morning America on Wednesday, February 27th.
