What happens when a Canadian grocery store is left unlocked all day long?\u00a0 Not much. When customers at a \u201cFood Basics\u201d store in Kingston, ON discovered the doors unlocked and no staff present on the Family Day holiday, many of them decided to continue with their shopping trip anyway\u2026including paying for their groceries.\u00a0 Reports are that no employees were scheduled to work that day and the doors of the grocery store were accidentally left unlocked. Despite the store\u2019s lack of employees, some customers proceeded to do their shopping, many of them apparently unaware that the store was even closed. Police were finally called\u2026at 4:30pm.\u00a0 Nothing was reported stolen.<\/p>\n
