Kacey Musgraves’ latest Nashville appearance threw some for a loop.<\/p>\n
Some fans thought they had paid to see Kacey in concert, but when they arrived, they found out it was a live taping of a podcast about mushrooms.<\/p>\n
It was part of the “Sing for Science” podcast, and it was focused on how psychedelic experiences have shaped Kacey’s music.<\/p>\n
But it was at the Ryman Auditorium, so you can see why people were confused, thinking it was a concert.<\/p>\n
There were reports of groups of fans in “cute concert outfits” walking out once it became clear there would be no performance.<\/p>\n
One singer, named Faith Hopkins, posted on TikTok saying she had been hoping for “Slow Burn” but instead got “no singing and lots of big words I didn’t understand.”<\/p>\n
But Kacey will be back in concert soon. You just have to travel a bit. Her next performance is tomorrow in Mexico City.<\/p>\n
