I actually found out about it online, that I had been replaced by this blonde-haired singer. She had a song called &#8216;Tim McGraw&#8217;.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And Taylor reached out to Eric after it happened.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;She was like, &#8216;Hope there&#8217;s no bad blood, because I love what you do.'&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>And Eric joked that she owed him her first gold record.<\/p>\n<p>Funny enough, it only took a few weeks until Taylor kept her word.<\/p>\n<p>At a festival soon after, Taylor handed him her very first gold record. It said, &#8220;To Eric, thanks for playing too long and too loud on the tour. Sincerely, Taylor.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Pretty cool memento. But Eric didn&#8217;t even get to keep it.
