Zach Top\u00a0might love classic country, but his heart belongs to the Seattle Mariners.<\/p>\n
Zach is from Washington state, and he even got to fulfill a childhood dream and throw out the first pitch at a Mariners game earlier this year.<\/p>\n
As it turns out, the feeling is mutual.<\/p>\n
Mariners’ slugger\u00a0Cal Raleigh, better known as Big Dumper, uses Zach’s song\u00a0“Bad Luck”\u00a0as his walk-up music and calls him “the best in country music.”<\/p>\n
But Zach’s fandom is even stronger than you can imagine.<\/p>\n
During a recent interview, he confessed that he recently skipped an encore in Louisville so he could catch the end of a Mariners game.<\/p>\n
“I’m not proud to admit this . . . but we had a show the other night, and the crowd wanted an encore. \u00a0I didn’t give them one because I was already sprinting back to my green room to watch the rest of the game.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
It even went a step further.<\/p>\n
“I had my monitor engineer feeding me score updates in my ears throughout the show.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
Now that is a diehard fan.<\/p>\n
