Morgan Wallen just made a surprise appearance at Ella Langley’s show at the Ryman Auditorium, and fans were losing their minds.<\/p>\n
The Ryman is right off Broadway in Nashville, home of Morgan’s infamous chair-throwing adventure, and it’s also nearby to where the CMAs take place.<\/p>\n
But Morgan had jokes too.<\/p>\n
“It takes a lot more than an awards show to get me out to Broadway these days.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
It’s not shocking that Morgan has a bad taste in his mouth. He was banned from the CMAs in 2021, and then snubbed in 2023 despite dominating the charts.<\/p>\n
Of course, now he’s the reigning Entertainer of the Year at the CMAs, so he doesn’t need much validation.<\/p>\n
He’s the biggest name in country music right now, and the CMAs might need him more than he needs them.<\/p>\n
