Jon Pardi\u00a0brought some unintentional comedy to the Big 12 Championship halftime show. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The game was Texas Tech versus BYU, and BYU fans, who are mostly Mormon, definitely weren’t the crowd for a string of drinking songs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Two of the songs he chose are pro-booze:\u00a0<\/span>“Heartache Medication”\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>“Dirt on My Boots”.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

But then he played\u00a0<\/span>“Head Over Boots”\u00a0for all the lovers out there.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here are some lyrics from “<\/span>Heartache Medication”<\/span>:\u00a0 “Bartender knows my name, but I don’t mind . . . She kicks ’em up strong, serves me up right . . . And here I go again, I’m drinkin’ one, I’m drinkin’ two.”<\/span><\/p>\n

But who knows, maybe he was just playing more for the Texas Tech crowd.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although the\u00a0<\/span>irony\u00a0of blasting bar anthems to a mostly alcohol-free fan base, was not lost on the rest of us.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
