An up-and-coming artist named Belles just wrote a sequel to “Jolene” called “Jolene’s Son,” and it’s catchy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But here’s the best part: Dolly loves the song and wants to do a duet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Here’s what Belles says, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\n“When I wrote this song, I would’ve never in a million years thought that it would’ve gone all the way to Dolly . . . and now I’m here, but I really couldn’t be more grateful.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

\n“When I heard ‘Son of Jolene’, I thought it was very clever. No one had ever thought of it that way.”<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
