A DoorDash delivery driver got busted\u00a0last week in California by a family’s doorbell camera, taking a sip out of the cookies and cream milkshake from Cold Stone Creamery that he was delivering.\u00a0 But the family didn’t know until they watched the video next day, after their 14-year-old son had already drank the milkshake.\u00a0 The kid says after he watched the video, he brushed his teeth six times.\u00a0 The family just wants an apology from DoorDash, but haven’t heard back.<\/p>\n

A study at the University of Oregon found that opening your shades in the morning and letting some sunlight in can kill HALF of the bacteria trapped in household dust.<\/p>\n

Researchers found about 12% of the bacteria floating around in a darkened room is able to reproduce.\u00a0 But with the shades open, reproduction drops to about 6%.<\/p>\n

A lot of the bacteria it kills is linked to certain respiratory diseases.\u00a0 So it might be even more important to open your blinds during flu season.<\/p>\n

They still need to do more research to see how much it affects things like colds.\u00a0 But based on the findings, they say it definitely can’t hurt to let a little more light in.<\/p>\n

And the added bonus is the extra sunlight can give you a boost in vitamin D.<\/p>\n

Jeff is 69.\u00a0 He had a double hernia surgery in February, and there were some complications, including a bad infection, which led to his kidneys not working.\u00a0 He spent a week in ICU, and almost died.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, he’s\u00a0on the mend now.\u00a0 But the medical bills have depleted his bank account . . . and a Go Fund Me\u00a0has been set up for him, with a goal of $25,000.<\/p>\n

By the way, Jeff’s real nickname IS ‘The Dude.’\u00a0\u00a0He\u00a0got the nickname back in the sixth grade from a few friends, and it stuck.<\/p>\n

      Your ripped-up jeans with holes in the knees might LOOK cool.\u00a0 But can they do this?\u00a0 Two brothers from Germany recently took a job where they had to pick up a rich guy’s yacht in New Zealand, and sail it all the way to Brazil for him.<\/p>\n

      One of the brothers is 30-year-old Arne Murke.\u00a0 And they were off the coast of New Zealand last Wednesday when the main sail knocked him overboard.\u00a0 And he couldn’t get back to the boat.<\/p>\n

      His brother tried to toss him a life preserver, but he couldn’t reach it.\u00a0 Then a huge swell carried him out to sea.<\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      But he was able to survive . . . by using his jeans as a FLOATATION DEVICE.<\/p>\n

      It’s a trick they teach in the Navy.\u00a0 First you take them off and tie the ends of the pantlegs together into a knot.\u00a0 Then you pull them up and over the water to trap air inside, and hold the waist closed with your hands.<\/p>\n

      Once there’s enough air in there, you can stick your head through the legs, and use your jeans like a life jacket to help you float and save energy.\u00a0 And if the air leaks out, you do it again.<\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Arne ended up floating around with his jeans around his neck for about three-and-a-half hours before the Coast Guard spotted him.\u00a0 And the sea was pretty rough, so they’re not sure he would have made it without his jeans.<\/p>\n

      YouTubers Cole & Sav Have Upset People Off With Their April Fools\u2019 Joke On Their 6-Year-Old<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

      YouTubers Cole and Savannah LaBrant are facing backlash for a video they posted in which they play a prank on their 6-year-old daughter Everleigh by telling her they were giving her puppy away.<\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      If you don\u2019t know who Cole and Sav are, here\u2019s some background. The couple, who got married in 2017, each had their own vlogging careers before merging and creating a blog family empire under their channel, The LaBrant Fam.<\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      That channel has 8.7 million subscribers on YouTube. Sav\u00a0has 5 million Instagram followers, her\u00a0husband\u00a0has 4 million,\u00a0Everleigh, Sav\u2019s daughter from a previous relationship, has 4.3 million, and the couple\u2019s 3-month-old daughter,\u00a0Posie, has 1.1 million.<\/p>\n

      Even Everleigh\u2019s puppy,\u00a0Carl, has an impressive 759,000 Instagram followers.<\/p>\n

      On Monday, April Fools\u2019 Day, the couple posted a video on their YouTube channel called \u201cWe Have to Give Our Puppy Away… Saying Goodbye Forever :(.\u201d<\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      The video is a normal vlog, until about 7 minutes in. It cuts to Everleigh face down on the couch, reacting to what Cole calls \u201csad news.\u201d<\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      He asks her if she wants to \u201ctell the vlog,\u201d but she refuses. Sav then says they have decided to \u201cgive Carl away to somebody else\u201d because they are too busy to properly take care of him. Cole then says that Everleigh is really sad but they are going to let her “give him away, to whoever she wants.\u201d<\/p>\n

      Everleigh shrugs when Cole asks her who she would give Carl to, and when he asks if she will miss him, she nods. During this, Sav starts to crack up.<\/p>\n

      Cole then says they have one more thing to tell Everleigh, and Sav whispers, \u201cApril Fools\u2019!\u201d<\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Everleigh then starts to cry again. \u201cToo far?\u201d Cole asks the camera.<\/p>\n

      Sav says that she didn\u2019t think Everleigh was even going to believe her. Cole says he thought Everleigh was faking her reaction at first. The rest of the video is dedicated to \u201cEverleigh\u2019s Revenge,\u201d where Everleigh pranks Cole in retaliation.<\/p>\n

      At the end of the video, Sav says if the prank \u201coffended any of you guys, she\u2019s OK.\u201d<\/p>\n

      \u201cShe cried for like two minutes and she\u2019s the happiest kid ever now, we prank each other all the time,\u201d she said.\u00a0 However, some people online were angered by the video.<\/p>\n

      Want People to Stand Just Over Three Feet Away From Us When We Talk to Them<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

      A new study asked people how FAR AWAY we want someone to stand when we’re having a conversation with them.<\/p>\n

      And the average answer was 3.11 feet, which is a little more than an arm’s length away.<\/p>\n

      The study also asked people in other countries, and our answer was right in the middle.<\/p>\n

      People in Romania want people the furthest away, at 4.56 feet, and Hungary is second, at 4.26 feet.\u00a0 I guess that fits the stereotype of Eastern European people just yelling at each other all the time . . . you’d need to talk loud at those distances.<\/p>\n

      South Americans seem the coolest with people getting close to them.\u00a0 People in Argentina only want you 2.5 feet away, and people in Peru averaged 2.6 feet.<\/p>\n

      As legalization of cannabis becomes more and more commonplace, it is also becoming more common for seniors in their 70s and 80s to add it to their list of activities, alongside things like golf and bingo.<\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Recent studies show that the 65-and-over crowd are the fastest-growing segment of cannabis users.<\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      And while it is a fact that many of them used marijuana to get high in their youth, now they may be more interested in easing age-related afflictions such as arthritis and sleeplessness.<\/p>\n

       <\/p>\n

      As an example, recently a group of about 50 seniors boarded a bus at a retirement community in Laguna Woods, California for a \u201cfield trip\u201d to a local pot shop near Disneyland.<\/p>\n

      They spent much of the day choosing from a variety of cannabis-infused products, including candies, drinks and weed. Then, they stopped for a little bingo before heading home.<\/p>\n

              Maren Morris<\/strong>\u00a0is Las Vegas-bound for this weekend’s\u00a0ACM Awards<\/em>.
