It&#8217;s to help needy families who are dealing with food insecurity, which is a fancy way of saying they don&#8217;t know where their next meal is coming from. And it&#8217;s a big problem. One in five kids lives that way.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;ll be called &#8216;The Store,&#8217; it&#8217;ll be located on the campus of Belmont University, where Brad went to college, and it&#8217;ll open later this year.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of a soup kitchen or a food bank, it&#8217;ll look and operate like a real grocery store. People go &#8216;shopping&#8217; through the aisles, then students and volunteers scan their items. But no money changes hands. Even the mechanical horse outside is free.<\/p>\n<p>That might sound a little odd, but the idea is to give people dignity. According to Brad, it &#8220;takes away the sting of embarrassment&#8221; for parents who feel ashamed they can&#8217;t feed their children when they&#8217;re just trying to get back on their feet.<\/p>\n<p>Quote, &#8220;The kids should not know what their parent is going through.
