There’s a small coffee chain in California called Klatch Coffee Roasters.\u00a0 And they just made news by selling coffee . . . for $75-a-cup.<\/p>\n
The coffee is made from one of the rarest coffee beans in the world.\u00a0 The beans come from Panama and cost a world record $803 PER POUND.\u00a0 Klatch bought 10 pounds . . . the only 10 available in the U.S.\u00a0 That allowed them to make exactly 80 cups of coffee and apparently, they sold out almost immediately.<\/p>\n
Then again, that’s not even the most expensive cup of coffee you can get in Los Angeles.\u00a0 There’s one coffee shop that sells $100 cups of coffee\u00a0made from beans that have been eaten and pooped out by an animal called the Asian palm civet.<\/p>\n
