Their saliva, feces and shedding body parts can trigger both allergies and asthma.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a viral challenge overseas right now where people are KISSING COWS.\u00a0 Like, on the mouth. signs made millions from them . . . and doesn&#8217;t have kids.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>______________________________________________________________________________<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>TODAY\u2019S GOOD NEWS<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A guy named\u00a0Armando Markaj\u00a0waits tables at a well-known pizza joint in New York called\u00a0Patsy&#8217;s.\u00a0 And earlier this month, a lady named\u00a0Karen Vinacour\u00a0was there with her adult daughter, and didn&#8217;t leave a tip.\u00a0 Here&#8217;s why . . .<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The walls of the place are covered in photos of famous people who&#8217;ve been there.\u00a0 And she asked why there weren&#8217;t more photos of women.\u00a0 So Armando joked that maybe they just don&#8217;t like pizza as much.\u00a0 And they didn&#8217;t like that.\u00a0 So they stiffed him and left.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But then Armando had a chance for some major payback.\u00a0 Because they accidentally left an<\/p>\n<p>envelope behind . . . with a cashier&#8217;s check in it for 424 THOUSAND BUCKS.<\/p>\n<p>It turned out Karen was looking at apartments in the area.\u00a0 The check was her down payment, and Armando COULD have deposited it since it was a cashier&#8217;s check.\u00a0 But instead, he gave it to his boss so no one else would get their hands on it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Karen freaked out when she couldn&#8217;t find the check.\u00a0 Especially when her bank said she&#8217;d have to wait three months to even TRY to cancel it.\u00a0 And she&#8217;s not rich.\u00a0 She&#8217;s a retired social worker, and it was a huge chunk of her life savings.<\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>&#8220;The New York Daily News &#8220;<\/strong><\/em>ended up tracking her down after they heard about the story.\u00a0 And she offered Armando a VERY nice tip as a reward.\u00a0 But he declined.\u00a0 So she&#8217;s helping with school supplies, because he&#8217;s working his way through med school.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She also apologized for stiffing him.\u00a0 And in the end, she kind of got what she wanted.\u00a0 Because they took a photo together.\u00a0 And now the restaurant is putting a photo of HER on the wall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>______________________________________________________________________________<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>BIRTHDAYS <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[51] Michael Kelly, actor (\u2018Doug Stamper\u2019 on \u201cHouse of Cards\u201d 2013-18)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[49] Naomi Campbell, fashion model, actress<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0__________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Are These the Ten Best Inventions of the Last 25 Years?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A new survey asked people to name the top inventions from the past 25 years.<\/p>\n<p>According to the survey, here are the ten most important inventions of the last 25 years:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Wi-Fi.\u00a0 The &#8220;Internet&#8221; didn&#8217;t qualify because it&#8217;s over 25 years old.<\/li>\n<li>Smartphones.<\/li>\n<li>Online banking.<\/li>\n<li>Online search engines, like Google.<\/li>\n<li>Online shopping platforms, like Amazon.<\/li>\n<li>Stem cell technology.<\/li>\n<li>GPS.<\/li>\n<li>Flat-screen TVs.<\/li>\n<li>Contactless payment, where you just hover your credit card or phone over the machine instead of swiping.\u00a0\u00a0<em><strong>(THAT made the top 10?)<\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li>Tablet devices.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>YouTube just missed the list at\u00a0#11, coming in ahead of\u00a03D printers\u00a0(#12),\u00a0Netflix\u00a0(#13),\u00a0Skype\u00a0(#15),\u00a0electric cars\u00a0(#16), Facebook\u00a0(#19),\u00a0and wireless headphones\u00a0(#20).<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0___________________________________________________________________________________<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Less Than Half of Us Now Eat Dinner at the Dining Room Table<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to a new survey, three-quarters of us grew up eating dinner basically every night at the dining room table . . . now that&#8217;s down to 48%.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Yes, the majority of people DON&#8217;T eat dinner at the dining room table.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So where ARE we eating?<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>30% of people say the couch . . . only 12% of people ate on the couch growing up.\u00a0 And 17% say they eat in a bedroom . . . only 6% of people did that growing up.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The survey also found 20% of people cook every single day, and 50% cook at least four times a week.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>______________________________________________________________________________<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><u><\/u><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>SUMMER DIET:<\/u><\/strong><u><br \/>\n<\/u>Dr. Patricia Farris, a dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, says that while it\u2019s true that we should always wear sunscreen as well as sunglasses and hats when the weather turns warmer, when it comes to protecting yourself from the sun, eating certain foods is almost as important. Here are some of her suggestions:<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 Tomatoes: \u00a0High in antioxidants, which are you best friends when it comes to limiting damage from the sun. \u00a0Pink grapefruit and watermelon are beneficial in this area as well.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 Sweet potatoes and spinach:\u00a0 They are rich in beta carotene, which decreases redness in skin after sun exposure. Also: carrots, mangoes, apricots, cantaloupe and kale.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 Berries, grapes and pomegranate:\u00a0 Contain sun-protective polyphenols, which have antioxidant properties.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 Oranges, grapefruit and kiwi:\u00a0 loaded with vitamin C, which protects against free radical damage that can cause skin aging.<\/p>\n<p>\u27a2 Fatty fish:\u00a0 The omega-3s from fish oil can make sunburn less severe and prevent the development of skin cancer. The baby will join one-year-old big sister\u00a0<strong>Olivia<\/strong>. Going from one to two kids is going to be an adjustment, but Tyler tells us they&#8217;re as ready as they can be and hoping for the best.\u00a0<strong>[<\/strong>\u201cI think it\u2019s one of those things you don\u2019t really know how it\u2019s gonna play out until it\u2019s playing out. I know we have an extra bunk on the bus for another baby so we\u2019ll just roll with it and see what happens. We\u2019ve done it once and it\u2019s only been a year, so I think we\u2019re kind of in our groove a little bit. Hopefully it\u2019ll make it easier than waiting too long to have another one.
