The often-maligned soda goes on sale online on Thursday as part of a tie-in with the Netflix show\u00a0<em>Stranger Things<\/em>, Coca-Cola announced. The third season of the show set in the 1980s launches on July 4 and will take place in 1985. That year, Coca-Cola angered soda drinkers with the launch of a new version of its drink.<\/p>\n<p>The 12-ounce cans of New Coke, made from the same recipe that sparked the 1985 revolt, will go on sale at cokestore.com. They&#8217;ll be part of a bundle when shoppers buy at least two limited-edition\u00a0<em>Stranger Things\u00a0<\/em>Coca-Cola or Coke Zero Sugar eight-ounce glass bottles. AND grabbed a few beers and some floral centerpieces on the way out.\u00a0 Oh, and her gift to the couple was a $5 bill.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The woman was NOT struggling financially . . . she just wanted leftovers.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a big debate in the comments on the post about whether or not what the woman did was okay. Some people ARE defending her, and saying the food would&#8217;ve just gone to waste if she didn&#8217;t take it . . . but most people are horrified.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0_____________________________________________________________________________<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Waitress Accidentally Served a $5,800 Bottle of Wine<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Would YOUR boss be this nice if you did something like this?\u00a0 There&#8217;s a really good steakhouse in\u00a0Manchester, England\u00a0called\u00a0Hawksmoor\u00a0that&#8217;s not cheap.\u00a0 A filet\u00a0costs\u00a0about $50, without any sides.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And a group of customers ordered a nice bottle of wine the other day that cost $330.\u00a0 Yes, just the wine was that much.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But they ended up getting an even nicer bottle.\u00a0 Because their waitress accidentally opened one that cost almost SIX GRAND.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The price was\u00a04,500\u00a0pounds, which is just under\u00a0$5,800.\u00a0 And no one realized it until it was gone.\u00a0 Her table asked for a second bottle, because they liked it so much.\u00a0 And that&#8217;s when she realized what she did and FREAKED OUT.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>She was worried she might get fired, or be on the hook for all that money.\u00a0 But here&#8217;s the great part:\u00a0 Her boss was totally cool with it.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The owner of the restaurant got on Twitter and congratulated the customers on the nice bottle they scored.\u00a0 Adding, quote, &#8220;To the member of the staff who accidentally gave it away, chin up!\u00a0 One-off mistakes happen, and we love you anyway.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He did say he&#8217;d be a little angrier if she&#8217;d done it twice though.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>_______________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>PEOPLE MORE LIKELY TO TRUST MACHINES THAN HUMANS <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Some think robots will take over the world in the future, while others think bots are pretty trustworthy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Penn State researchers found people who trusted machines were significantly more likely to hand over their credit card numbers to a computerized travel agent than a human travel agent.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Researchers say part of what sways this is a bias that machines are more trustworthy and secure than humans&#8211; or machine heuristic. It&#8217;s thought that this faith in machines might be because machines don&#8217;t gossip or have devious plans for the information, but the scientists caution that the people developing and running the bots could prey on this gullibility to get your personal information.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Study author Shyam Sundar adds, &#8220;This study should serve as a warning for people to be aware of how they interact online. In an unrelated press interview on Wednesday, Jason stated:\u00a0&#8220;Basically she had like a stomach bug that caused a lot of vomiting and other stuff but\u00a0we finally got her with some antibiotics through an IV \u2014 like really strong stuff. So, she turned a corner.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Jason said that doctors sent her home on Monday, but they took her back in on Tuesday.
