An ivory chess piece bought for $6 by a Scottish antiques dealer in the 1960s was found in a drawer, and is now expected to sell for up to $1.3 million. Auction house Southeby&#8217;s said the piece, dubbed the Lewis Warder, is believed to be among the Lewis Chessmen found on the Isle of Lewis in Scotland&#8217;s Outer Hebrides in 1831. The pieces are believed to have been card in Trondheim, Norway, in the late 12th or 13th century before making their way to the Isle of Lewis. Equipped with a Chevrolet Aveo which has racked up 260,000 kilometres, she worries about even making it, and if she were to miss work it would be detrimental as the pay cheque is critical for Lashmore\u2019s daily routine.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Before being awarded the new car she was handcuffed by constant repairs. Naturally, with a reliance on transportation, there was a mixture of shock and relief when Lashmore found out she would be the recipient of a new Mazda.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt brings down the stress level quite a bit in my world,\u201d she said. \u201cComing back and forth from Wallaceburg at quarter-after four in the morning, you want something reliable, in the winter especially. Students from the special high skills major auto shop program chipped in 10 lunch hours worth of labour for the United Way Chatham-Kent\u2019s\u00a0Rebuilding Wheels Rebuilding Lives program.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The idea was brought to the United Way thanks to the school\u2019s auto shop teacher James Stonehouse. He was inspired to bring this program to the region after reading about how E.J. Those who swear a lot were found more likely to be honest and trustworthy people. game.\u00a0 He recently returned to action after missing most of the playoffs with a quad injury.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the injuries, the Warriors put up a fight last night, largely thanks fans.<\/p>\n<p>Eric is a fan of CMA Fest for several reasons, not the least of which are the fans who descend on Music City from around the world.\u00a0 [&#8220;I like it because all year long, we go to their town and we entertain &#8217;em, and this time of year, they&#8217;re coming to mine. I can still sleep in my bed at night and we still get to hang with &#8217;em all day. And just as an artist, it&#8217;s a neat event. It&#8217;s a neat thing. And it&#8217;s unique to country music. I mean, if you look around at the other formats, they don&#8217;t have this &#8212; CMA Music Fest, Fan Fair.
