There’s a restaurant in Montana that offers a birthday discount matching your age . . . if you’re 38 then you get a 38% discount on your birthday, and so forth. And that discount has worked out GREAT for a woman named Helen Self.\u00a0 She just turned 109 . . . so when she went to the restaurant, she didn’t just get her meal free, she also got 9% of the cost back in cash.<\/p>\n

She’s actually been going there for her birthday every year since she turned 100.<\/p>\n

And the owner says that even though she found a hell of a loophole on the discount, he’s happy to take care of her every year.<\/p>\n

There was a chemical weapon explosion in Texas this weekend.\u00a0 There were no casualties, but it must have left quite the smell. A semi was carrying a shipment of Axe Body Spray on Interstate 35 in Belton, Texas on Friday morning when somehow it caught on fire . . . and all that Axe EXPLODED.<\/p>\n

Cans of Axe were blowing up and flying everywhere, the truck was completely destroyed, and the highway had to be shut down for hours to clean up the carnage.<\/p>\n

But thankfully, no one was hurt . . . the driver got out in time.<\/p>\n

Geoffrey Owens from “The Cosby Show” was on “Good Morning America” yesterday to talk about being shamed and called out\u00a0for working at Trader Joe’s.\u00a0 He says he’s been doing that job for more than a year, and lots of people have recognized him, but no one has tried to shame him for it until now and at first it hurt.<\/p>\n

Geoffrey said he hopes his story will make people rethink what it means to work . . . quote, “There is no job that is better than another job. \u00a0It might pay better. \u00a0It might have better benefits. \u00a0It might look better on a r\u00e9sum\u00e9 and a paper.<\/p>\n

“But actually, it’s not better. \u00a0Every job is worthwhile and valuable.”<\/p>\n

(He might be doing even better soon, because Tyler Perry just offered\u00a0him work.)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Legendary Apollo 11 astronaut Edwin \u201cBuzz\u201d Aldrin took a swipe at the upcoming movie \u201cFirst Man\u201d because of director Damien Chazelle\u2019s decision not to show the planting of the American flag on the moon during the historic 1969 mission. The 88 year-old, who was the second man to step on the moon, posted historical photos of the flag-planting and added the hashtag \u201cProud to be an American.\u201d\u00a0 Despite the controversy, star Ryan Gosling, a native \u00a0Canadian, has defended the decision not to portray the flag-planting scene, saying at the Venice Film Festival that the decision was deliberate because the moon landing \u201ctranscended countries and borders.\u201d<\/p>\n
