The F.B.I. has announced they have recovered Dorothy\u2019s ruby slippers.\u00a0 The footwear, worn by Judy Garland in \u201cThe Wizard of Oz\u201d, was found after a 13-year investigation. They are one of the four pairs of ruby shoes that Garland wore in the ground-breaking film and were on loan to the Judy Garland Museum in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Authorities had little to help with the investigation, only knowing that someone or multiple suspects broke into the museum through a back entry door, demolished the clear, plexiglass container where the shoes were housed, and ran off with one of the most iconic pairs of footwear ever to grace the silver screen.<\/p>\n

Former classmates reunited in Michigan to uncover a time capsule buried 30 years ago. The result? They couldn’t find it. The seven classmates and two teachers spent two hours digging outside Coloma Junior High in southwestern Michigan. A teacher said information about the capsule was filed away but lost. Some wonder if rebellious classmates dug it up. The Superintendent said the box may have been unearthed earlier when work was performed to alleviate flooding behind the school. The group might use a different metal detector and keep hunting.<\/p>\n

        Facebook has apologized for removing Burt Reynolds\u2019 famous 1970s Cosmo centerfold picture.\u00a0 Apparently, Reynolds was so sexy that he broke Facebook\u2018s algorithm, but now coders are hard at work restoring the famous photo and apologizing for removing it after scores of fans posted picture in tribute to the late actor.\u00a0 The posts were flagged for violating Facebook\u2019s \u201cCommunity Standards.\u201d\u00a0 A rep says that the image in question was mistakenly removed, and they \u201care restoring the image as it does not break our standards.\u201d<\/p>\n

            There’s a truck driver in northwest Wisconsin named Nathan Boos who was adopted as a baby.\u00a0 And he never knew who his real parents were, because he never asked.<\/p>\n

            His adoptive mom DID know who they were, but never told him.\u00a0 Then she was scrolling through his Facebook page recently when she saw a photo of his biological dad on his FRIENDS LIST.\u00a0 And it turns out he WORKS with him.<\/p>\n

            The dad’s name is Bob Degaro, and Nathan’s known him for about two years.\u00a0 They both work for a trucking company called Rock Solid Transport.\u00a0 And Bob was also in the dark. \u00a0He had no idea Nathan was his son. It turns out he and his ex-wife gave him up for adoption, because they were struggling financially.\u00a0 And Nathan has two SIBLINGS he never knew about.<\/p>\n

            He’s also getting married soon and says Bob’s invited.\u00a0 It sounds like he would have gotten an invite anyway.\u00a0 But Bob joked that he might get a better seat now.<\/p>\n

            Brian Sansoni says that perhaps surprisingly, 86 per cent of household\u2019s sort laundry before washing.\u00a0 That\u2019s right, they actually have separate laundry bins for \u2018whites\u2019 and \u2018colors\u2019. And rather than having one \u2018laundry day\u2019 each week, many families now do several smaller loads throughout the week.<\/p>\n

            \u2192 You have more health risks:\u00a0 Lack of sleep has been linked to a higher risk of diabetes, Alzheimer\u2019s, cancer, and heart problems. \u00a0That can naturally affect your longevity.\u00a0 (And your mood\u2026see above!)<\/p>\n

            \u2192 Your immune system weakens:\u00a0 The immune system becomes compromised, and suddenly you become more susceptible to not only some of the afflictions mentioned earlier, but also to the cold and flu bugs going around. (Which in turn, makes it tough to get a good sleep\u2026)<\/p>\n

            \u2192 Your skin ages more rapidly:\u00a0 Poor sleeping habits don\u2019t just affect your body on the inside. People who don\u2019t get enough sleep show increased signs of aging skin, including reduced elasticity, more fine lines, and a reduced ability to heal from sunburns.\u00a0 (which kind of makes the fact that a lack of sleep can kill your libido a moot point!)<\/p>\n

                Sunday Night Football ended with a big Packers comeback over the Bears.\u00a0 They were down 17-nothing at the half, and Aaron Rodgers left the game with a knee injury.\u00a0 He came back in the third to rally the Packers when they were down 20-nothing.\u00a0 With a little over two minutes left in the fourth quarter, on 3rd and 10, Rodgers threw to Randall Cobb for a 75-yard touchdown play to even the game . . . and then take the lead with an extra point.\u00a0 It was the largest deficit the Packers had faced since the 1940’s.<\/p>\n

That is when it is forecast to reach the southeastern coast. The governors of Virginia and both Carolinas declared a state of emergency over the weekend. The path of the storm was expected to bypass Florida as of late yesterday.<\/p>\n

                      Carrie Underwood\u00a0returned for her sixth season of performing the theme song for\u00a0Sunday Night Football<\/em>\u00a0on NBC last night (Sunday, September 9th) as the Green Bay Packers played host to the Chicago Bears.<\/p>\n

                      Florida Georgia Line \u2013 were forced to cancel their inaugural FGL Fest due to severe weather.
