They were inside a locker and the key was lost.<\/p>\n<p>\u2713 An episode of the British kids\u2019 show \u201cPeppa Pig\u201d was banned in Australia because it informed children that spiders \u201ccan\u2019t hurt you\u201d in a country plagued with the deadliest creepy-crawlies on Earth.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0______________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>GOOD NEWS <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>13-year-old Austin Hardison lives in Arizona, and asked his mom for a smartwatch last Christmas, because a few of his friends had gotten them.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And this summer, it ended up saving his LIFE.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He was watching TV recently, when he started to feel light-headed.\u00a0 Then he looked at his watch, and it said his heart rate was 219 beats per minute.\u00a0 Which is WAY high.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A normal resting heart rate is between 60 and 100 beats per minute.\u00a0 And at his age, it should never be higher than about 200.\u00a0 But that&#8217;s if he was running, or doing vigorous exercise.\u00a0 Not sitting on the couch.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>His mom thought he was just anxious about school starting back up.\u00a0 But she took him to the doctor.\u00a0 And it turns out he was born with a heart condition they didn&#8217;t know about.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He might not be able to play high-impact sports because of it.\u00a0 But now his doctors can treat it.\u00a0 So his watch probably saved his life.<\/p>\n<p><strong>______________________________________________________________________________<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>BIRTHDAYS <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[89] Warren Buffett, one of the richest people in the world<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>[47] Cameron Diaz, actress<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>____________________________________________________________________________<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>What Age Should Kids Get Their Own Smartphone?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to a new survey, most people think the right age for a kid to get their own smartphone is between 12 and 16 years old.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>But . . . 4% of people think kids should get a phone before they turn 10.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And 8% think it shouldn&#8217;t be until they turn 18 . . . or even later.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>QUESTION\u2026. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>______________________________________________________________________________<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>KIDS WATER BOTTLE RECALL <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Health Canada says more than 150,000 kids\u2019 water bottles have been recalled due to a choking hazard.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The agency says Contigo Kids Cleanable water bottles with a black spout base and spout cover are included in the recall.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The water bottles, which were sold individually as well as in two-packs and three-packs, come in three sizes \u201413 ounces, 14 ounces and 20 ounces \u2014 and four bottle colours.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Health Canada notes that the bottles\u2019s detachable silicone spout poses a choking hazard to children.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The affected products were sold in Canada, U.S., and Mexico from April 2018 to June of this year. In fact, some of his choices might surprise you. He tells us:[\u201cI went to college for two years and figured it wasn\u2019t for me. But I couldn\u2019t decide between majors. At one point I thought about law enforcement. And then I looked around at me and my friends and knew that wasn\u2019t an option.\u00a0 So that quickly went away.\u00a0 And you know, at one point I even thought I was gonna be a relationship counselor. You know, that sounded good, cause all girls would come to me with their problems and I\u2019d write songs and talk \u2018em through it and all that.\u00a0 I was like, maybe I\u2019d be good at that.\u00a0 And I figured I\u2019d be responsible for more divorces than social media when I really thought about it.\u00a0 So that got X-ed out. I\u2019d probably be coaching if I had to guess. I really enjoyed that. I got to coach some football where I went to high school, before I left, and I had a good time with that. So I\u2019d say that\u2019s probably a safe bet.
