A New Poll Found Almost a Third of Us Are Superstitious<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s Friday the 13th AND there&#8217;s a full moon tonight.\u00a0 Which won\u2019t\u00a0happen again for another 30 years.\u00a0 And if that makes you squirm a little, you&#8217;re not alone.<\/p>\n<p>Almost a third of people\u00a0admitted they&#8217;re superstitious . . . including 9% who said they&#8217;re VERY superstitious.\u00a0 That&#8217;s about 1 in 11 people.<\/p>\n<p>Men were much more likely to say they&#8217;re very superstitious . . . 16% compared to just 2% of women.\u00a0 And young people are more superstitious than older people are.\u00a0 23% of people between 25 and 34 said they&#8217;re very superstitious, versus 1% of people over 55.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Four Things You Should Know About Tonight&#8217;s Full Moon . . . on Friday the 13th<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Today is Friday the 13th.\u00a0 And there&#8217;s also going to be a FULL MOON tonight.<\/p>\n<p>Here are four things you should know about it . . .<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>It&#8217;s this year&#8217;s &#8220;Harvest Moon.&#8221;\u00a0 The full moon closest in date to the Fall Equinox is always referred to as a &#8220;Harvest Moon.&#8221; \u00a0And since this year&#8217;s equinox falls on September 23rd, tonight&#8217;s full moon gets the title.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"2\">\n<li>It will also be a &#8220;micro moon.&#8221;\u00a0 Tonight&#8217;s full moon also coincides with the point in the moon&#8217;s orbit when it&#8217;s farthest from Earth. \u00a0So even though it&#8217;s a full moon, it&#8217;ll appear slightly smaller and less bright than usual.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"3\">\n<li>It&#8217;s only full for an instant.\u00a0 The moon will appear full most of the night, but it&#8217;s only officially full when it&#8217;s exactly 180 degrees opposite the sun in something called ecliptic longitude.\u00a0 And for tonight&#8217;s harvest moon, that happens at about 12:33 A.M. Eastern.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ol start=\"4\">\n<li>A full moon on Friday the 13th is pretty rare.\u00a0 We haven&#8217;t had a nationwide full moon on Friday the 13th since October 13th, 2000 . . . and the next one won&#8217;t be until August 13th, 2049.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>_________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><u>A WALKMAN DOWN MEMORY LANE:<\/u><\/strong><u><br \/>\n<\/u>Sony is releasing a new 40<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0anniversary edition of its revolutionary music player, the \u201cWalkman\u201d.
