Feel Good Friday – Move That Body

June 18, 2021 2:30 pm Published by

Every Friday we team up with the Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent to share different things you can do to take care of yourself and focus on your mental health.

This week’s #FeelGoodFriday encourages you to get moving!

If you are looking for a way to boost your mood?  MOVE THAT BODY!  Research shows that just 15 minutes of exercise every day can help circulation, improve your mood, boost metabolism and increase life expectancy.  Take a walk or go for a jog, climb the stairs or do a quick workout video on YouTube.  Your brain and body work together – so when you take care of your physical health, you’re taking care of your mental health too!

Looking for a way to stay active and give back to your community? Join the movement for mental health by registering for Ride Don’t Hide!

Set your own goals and move in your own way to support local mental health programs and services!

What will you do to move more?  Let us know!  Share on social media and tag us in your posts!  #foxfmsarnia  #feelgoodfriday  #CMHA
