Feel Good Friday – Handling Stress With The Changing Seasons
September 17, 2021 10:06 amEvery Friday the Fox teams up with the Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent for Feel Good Fridays – sharing ways you can continue to take care of yourself, focus on your mental health and help you FEEL GOOD!
This week it’s all about finding ways to adjust to the stress that comes with changing seasons.
“September is here and for some, the colourful leaves, cozy sweaters and pumpkin spice everything brings excitement, but fall can also bring some stress. As the seasons’ change, begin to identify what your personal triggers are and make a plan to manage them! Practicing simple stress-relief activities like box breathing, progressive muscle relaxation, and colouring, can go a long way in helping manage stress and worry!
Did you know that CMHA Lambton Kent has a 24/7 Mental Health First Response Team that is available every day, even on holidays and weekends? It’s never too early to reach out for help: 1-800-307-4319.”
