Feel Good Friday – Together We Can Help Others
September 10, 2021 9:56 amFriday, September 10th is World Suicide Prevention Day.
You can help give someone hope by showing that you care. All of us can play a role, no matter how small. Small talk can save lives and create a sense of connection and hope in somebody who may be struggling.
Let’s create a more compassionate community where those in need can feel more comfortable in coming forward to seek help. We can all do something to live in a world where suicide is recognized and we can all do something to help prevent it. By encouraging, understanding, reaching out and sharing experiences, we can give people the confidence to take action.
Today, join The Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent and many others across the world who are playing their part in the prevention of suicide.
You can take part by:
· Sharing our resources
· Sharing on social media
· Attend an event!
If you or anyone you know might be struggling, please reach out to any of the following local and provincial resources, available 24/7:
