Feel Good Friday – Make Self-Care A Priority

Every Friday the Fox teams up with The Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent for Feel Good Fridays.  We share different things you can do to take care of yourself, focus on your mental health and help you FEEL GOOD!


This week we are focusing on self-care

As the weather gets colder, we all need to PRIORITIZE our self-care practices more.  These allow us to take time from the stress of everyday life and help us maintain our mental well-being. One of the BEST ways you can prioritize self-care is by identifying 15 minutes each day where you can find something you find relaxing and take time for yourself.

Choose a consistent time each day, whether it’s right before you go to bed or immediately when you wake up.  This can include reading, listening to music you like, watching videos on YouTube, or writing in a journal.  Even if you feel like you don’t have a lot of time in your day – you can usually find 15 minutes for YOU.
