Its funny how the older we get the less we dance…a combo of less opportunity mixed with more self conciousness??
My daughter is a pretty happy kid, I wonder if there is a correlation between how many Tik Tok Dances she knows??
The Canadian Mental Health Association Lambton Kent wants you to know that there are many physical benefits of dance, but did you know dancing can also have a positive impact on our mood and mental health?!
Dance can help our mental health in many ways, including:
- Boosts memory
- Boosts confidence
- Improves cognitive ability
- Lifts your mood
To receive the benefits of dancing, you don’t have to participate in a formal way. Dance in your kitchen, living room, bedroom or even outside! Dance by yourself or with family, friends or your pet.
