SEA SHANTY CRAZE..thanks To TIK TOK Of Course!

Here is an experiment you can try with your kids today…play Stan Rogers Barrett’s Privateers a famouse Cdn Sea Shanty (type of song) I bet your kid will recognize it!  Sea Shanties and Sea Shanty remakes are all over Tik Tok these days.  People are singing traditional Sea Shanties or remaking modern songs like this Nickelback remake of Rockstar. One fellow from Scotland ended up with a record deal with his Sea Shanty, check it out HERE

A little background on the Sea Shanty…. Sea Shanties are not a new phenomenon. They’ve been around for centuries, and originally helped sailors work in unison while out at sea.
