So nice to be back from vacation!\u00a0 A few days off doing nothing is good for the soul!\u00a0 Although being at home all the time, it doesn’t feel THAT different.\u00a0 How do YOU shut yourself off from work when you’re on vacation?\u00a0 Especially now, if you too, are working from home?\u00a0 Going back to work is more challenging.\u00a0 You’re just switching rooms, instead of going TO an office.<\/p>\n

Today we learned some snakes fly<\/em>.\u00a0 That let sink in for a minute.\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

I don’t like snakes.\u00a0 I don’t trust them.\u00a0 They scare me.\u00a0 I\u00a0 can appreciate that they are in the world, but I don’t want to be anywhere close to them.<\/p>\n

Today we learned there is a place where snakes actually hurl themselves out of trees.\u00a0 “The paradise tree snake<\/a> — does just that, propelling through the air from trees in South and Southeast Asia. ”\u00a0 That’s a snake on a mission.\u00a0 That’s a snake I don’t want to ever, ever, ever encounter.\u00a0 I don’t like seeing a snake on the ground, or in my garden.\u00a0 I can’t imagine the fear involved wandering an area where they could literally fly out of a tree.\u00a0 Um, nope.\u00a0 No thank you.<\/p>\n

There will be no travelling for me EVER in South and Southeast Asia until researchers figure out how to STOP those snakes from flying.\u00a0 Ick.<\/p>\n

An expert says get used to birthday cakes without candles.<\/a>\u00a0 “Paul Dawson, a professor in Food Systems and Safety at Clemson University in South Carolina, believes that COVID-19 should make people reconsider whether they want to celebrate their birthday by blowing candles and sharing the cake with loved ones.”\u00a0 Instead, consider other options including waving at the flames, using a hair dryer or giving out individual cupcakes with a single candle to party participants. Sparklers can also be an option<\/em>.\u00a0 I know I’m getting to the point where there’s more candles than cake – but this doesn’t seem right. Never thought I would watch it.\u00a0 Never expected to love it enough to give up sleep and talking to my family. And I was so surprised to learn that one of the characters is actually Canadian.\u00a0 Lennon Stella – whose music we play on the Fox – was a big part of that show.\u00a0 Playing the part of Maddie Conrad from 2012 – 2018.\u00a0 Super talented.\u00a0 Watch it.\u00a0 I dare you.\u00a0 Country music fan or not.\u00a0 It’s an inside look at the industry.\u00a0 The cat fights. The drama.\u00a0 The scandal.\u00a0 And the cheesy country music. And no spoilers please – I’m only in Season 2.\u00a0 I’ve got a lot left to watch.<\/p>\n
