Maybe it will just be a KD for lunch kind of day&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>But I did want to share my Grandma Woodley&#8217;s Mac and Cheese recipe&#8230; it&#8217;s not formally written out anywhere, no actual measurements&#8230;.but here it is:<\/p>\n<p>Cook one package of Macaroni, (al dente), Shred a Bunch of cheese and par cook a package of bacon.<\/p>\n<p>Layer a casserole dish with cooked macaroni, a sprinkle of flour and a layer of cheese. Repeat until full.<\/p>\n<p>Pour milk over entire casserole until the dish is about half full of milk.<\/p>\n<p>Cut par cooked bacon into 2 inch pieces and cover the top of the entire casserole with bacon.<\/p>\n<p>Bake (350-375 degrees) until cooked through and bacon is crispy&#8230;about an hour.<\/p>\n<p>Serve and enjoy&#8230; (I put ketchup on it!!)<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s Mac and Cheese Day today&#8230; A day I thought would have a winter date considering it&#8217;s a comfort food casserole that involves heating up the oven, not something I want to do in the middle of July LOL!
