As often as it\u2019s seen and used, you would think someone would invent a more interesting toilet paper holder. The reality, of course, is that we just need the holder to do it\u2019s job \u2014 hold the TP in place solidly and have it roll smoothly.<\/p>\n
But if you\u2019re interested in shaking things up in the bathroom, a new show full of re-imagined toilet paper holders is going on at the Los Angeles art gallery Marta. The show, called Under\/Over, features the works of more than 50 artists who redesigned the hardware responsible for the thankless, yet essential job of keeping toilet paper at the ready.<\/p>\n
