When they cleaned up at the Emmy’s last weekend I seriously jumped for joy.\u00a0 I was so happy. So excited. Even a little bit proud.\u00a0 Which is odd, considering I have nothing to do with it.\u00a0But I’m Canadian so I guess I feel like I can claim it as my own.<\/p>\n
I’m talking about Schitt’$ Creek.\u00a0 This little hidden gem of a show that in the last few years has taken the world by storm.\u00a0 For almost six years it was a little Canadian show that nobody really paid much attention to.\u00a0 Let’s face it – in Canada we haven’t always<\/em> been excited about our own shows.\u00a0 And nobody can really pinpoint when or why<\/a> – but suddenly it’s the only show people seem to be talking about.\u00a0 For good reason.<\/p>\n TV Guide named it the best show on television.\u00a0 Some 23,000 self-described Schittheads now belong to a Facebook fan club where they rank Moira’s outfits, swap memes and more.\u00a0 Multiple posts from fans comment on how the show has helped them through cancer, bereavement, suicidal thoughts and more.<\/p>\n
