{"id":14312,"date":"2021-04-30T14:06:45","date_gmt":"2021-04-30T18:06:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfgxfm\/?p=14312"},"modified":"2021-04-30T15:03:22","modified_gmt":"2021-04-30T19:03:22","slug":"feel-good-friday-treat-yourself","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/briwebapp.net\/cfgxfm\/blogs\/afternoons-fridays\/2021\/04\/feel-good-friday-treat-yourself\/","title":{"rendered":"Feel Good Friday &#8211; Treat Yourself"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s another <strong>Feel Good Friday<\/strong>!\u00a0 Sharing tips and tricks to help you focus on ways to feel good, focusing on our mental health.<\/p>\n<p>On this Feel Good Friday &#8211; it&#8217;s time to do a little good for yourself!\u00a0 <strong><em>Treat yourself.<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0 Which makes me think of Parks and Recreation and the episodes where Donna and Tom would sing &#8220;Treat yo&#8217; self- it&#8217;s the best day of the year&#8221; and do all kinds of crazy things to pamper themselves.<\/p>\n<p>So &#8211; don&#8217;t wait.\u00a0 Treat yourself to your favourite meal, or shop local and buy yourself a cute little knick-knack that will look good on your shelf!\u00a0 Out do yourself.\u00a0 Do something to pamper yourself like Donna and Tom.\u00a0 Nails?\u00a0 New hair colour?\u00a0 I bought myself a new bird feeder a few weeks ago and it makes me smile whenever I see it.\u00a0 It&#8217;s a turquoise blue and I love it.\u00a0 And so do the birds.\u00a0 I&#8217;m even seeing some new ones come around for the free snacks.<\/p>\n<p>Those little things help us feel good in the moment, but even those small &#8220;treat-yourself moments&#8221; can be a recipe for better mental health as well.
