of all time that arrives in a few weeks, that I actually PRE-ordered back in March, that I have been counting down the days to get.<\/p>\nAnybody else really love this time of year?<\/p>\n
Maybe it’s because it’s my birthday month.\u00a0 Maybe it’s the thought of Thanksgiving and camping and a deep fried turkey with all the fixin’s.\u00a0 \u00a0Maybe it’s because “spooky season” is finally here.\u00a0 Halloween haunts and spooky decorations.\u00a0 And candy.\u00a0 Everywhere candy.\u00a0 In bulk.\u00a0 Those molasses kisses that I love so much.<\/p>\n
Maybe it’s the new album coming from my favourite band of all time that arrives in a few weeks, that I actually PRE-ordered back in March, that I have been counting down the days to get.<\/p>\n
Maybe it’s pumpkin spice everything.<\/p>\n
Maybe it’s the cooler temperatures.\u00a0 Crisp air.\u00a0 \u00a0Apples.\u00a0 Windows open.\u00a0 \u00a0Hoodies AND sandals.\u00a0 Because it’s really hard to get out of the summer wardrobe sometimes.\u00a0 I’m ready for hoodies and sweats but I’m not ready to give up on shoes you can just slide on with ease. (smile).\u00a0 I’m not mentally ready for socks or panty hose or nylons.\u00a0 And closed toed shoes.\u00a0 Nope.\u00a0 Not yet.<\/p>\n
I have passed a car a few times now with a license plate that I love – something that basically reads as “I hate socks”.\u00a0 \u00a0I wanted to roll down the window and wave my hand up in agreement when I saw it.\u00a0 YES.\u00a0 I hate socks too.<\/p>\n
Unless it’s the middle of winter and you’re not going anywhere, there’s nothing better than those big comfy socks.\u00a0 \u00a0But I’m not ready for winter anymore than I’m ready for socks.<\/p>\n
If we could keep one season, I think for me it would be fall.\u00a0The colour, the cool temperatures are good enough for me.\u00a0The comfort foods.\u00a0 Apple crisp and apple pie with fresh picked apples.<\/p>\n
So many things to love about this time of year.\u00a0 And question?<\/p>\n
October brings new releases on Netflix.\u00a0 One of which even I am questioning.\u00a0 \u00a0“Diana the Musical”.\u00a0 \u00a0Yep.\u00a0 That Diana.\u00a0 Princess Diana.\u00a0 The Peoples Princess. Queen of Hearts.\u00a0 Her story told as a musical.\u00a0 \u00a0I loved Diana.\u00a0 I have watched the interviews, read the books.\u00a0 I watched the wedding.\u00a0 I cried when she died.\u00a0 But I’m just not sure this is how to remember her or honour her.\u00a0 I loved the Crown.\u00a0 And I’m really interested to see Spencer when it hits theatres in November.\u00a0 \u00a0I’m just not sure about this.<\/p>\n
