I think of my dad.\u00a0 A man of strength.\u00a0 Character.\u00a0 He’s taught me a lot over my years.\u00a0 The power of forgiveness, giving back, volunteering, kindness and compassion, family and humour.<\/p>\n
My brother who has overcome tragedy, has worked so hard and never given up on his dreams.\u00a0 A great dad, brother and friend.<\/p>\n
My husband.\u00a0 \u00a0So thankful for him in my life.\u00a0 Strong and silent.\u00a0 He works hard to take care of his family.\u00a0 \u00a0He is an incredible dad to our girls and never says no to someone in need of help.<\/p>\n
I have had the chance to work with so many men who have been supportive and encouraging and have helped me grow in my career.<\/p>\n
Today, on International Men’s Day, we celebrate men everywhere and thank you for being you.\u00a0 \u00a0We see you and we celebrate you.\u00a0 We appreciate you.\u00a0 For working hard.\u00a0 For being the strong one.\u00a0 For killing the spiders and opening the jars.\u00a0 \u00a0For all the stuff we never say thank you for enough.\u00a0 For carrying the heavy load and keeping it together.<\/p>\n
For your love and support, kindness and compassion, friendship, leadership and all the roles you fill every single day.<\/p>\n
