Anybody else remember that show?\u00a0 Blair, Tootie, Jo and Natalie.\u00a0 Mrs. Garrett?\u00a0 Who could forget Mrs. G?\u00a0 Who always had the best advice and loved her girls like a mother.<\/p>\n
I introduced my two girls to the show a few years ago and they loved it just as much as I did.\u00a0 \u00a0 According to Wikipedia – “The Facts of Life is an American television sitcom that originally aired on NBC from August 24, 1979, to May 7, 1988, making it one of the longest-running sitcoms of the 1980s.”\u00a0 It was about four girls, at all an girls boarding school learning about more than just what’s taught in the classroom or in a book.<\/p>\n
Jo is a bit rough around the edges.\u00a0 Blair is a bit of a snob.\u00a0 A rich girl.\u00a0 Spoiled. Pampered.\u00a0 Tootie loves to gossip and roller skate.\u00a0 Natalie a bit of a people pleaser, looking to fit in and love herself.\u00a0 Each episode took us on a different ride.\u00a0 Learning important life lessons.\u00a0 Caring for each other.\u00a0 Standing up for what you believe in.\u00a0 The importance of morals and values.\u00a0 Honesty.\u00a0 Truth.\u00a0 Different girls.\u00a0 Different backgrounds.\u00a0 Broken families.<\/p>\n
We watched them grow up.<\/p>\n
I LOVED that show and still love getting the chance to watch old episodes.<\/p>\n
