As I was making the drive to work this afternoon I saw a few cars pulled over on the Parkway, and wondered what they were looking at.\u00a0 Up in the tree, an Eagle.\u00a0 I couldn’t help but stop too.\u00a0 So I pulled into a parking lot and crossed the street to take a peak thinking I would try and get a few pictures. I’ve seen lots of pictures shared online on sites like “You Gotta Love Sarnia” but have never had the chance to see one up close.<\/p>\n

Absolutely beautiful.\u00a0 \u00a0 Mesmerizing actually.\u00a0 \u00a0I stood and admired the amazing feathered creature.\u00a0 Just sitting there.\u00a0 Perched high. Watching over.\u00a0 \u00a0I almost forgot to take a picture.<\/p>\n

Others had their big lenses aimed at him.\u00a0 I had my iPhone.\u00a0 Not nearly the same. But once I snapped a quick pic, I just wanted to admire him.\u00a0 \u00a0So, no, my picture doesn’t do it justice.\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

But I’m so glad I stopped and got a glimpse up close.\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

After that I had to go and see the swans.\u00a0 What a beautiful site that was.\u00a0 If you haven’t made the drive down the St. Clair Parkway recently, I encourage you to take a trip to see all the birds.<\/p>\n

So many swans.\u00a0 If you stop in the parking lot close to Shell, you will be able to see them.<\/p>\n

Someone I talked to, that was there as well,\u00a0 said it had to do with the ice jams up river.\u00a0 So the swans and other birds are here.\u00a0 Even more swans down Courtright way.<\/p>\n

The other birds in the water I’m not quite sure of.\u00a0 I couldn’t identify all of them.<\/p>\n

One of those moments I was so excited to be able to stop and take the time to just take in the moment.\u00a0 Feel the sun on my face.\u00a0 And stand with the others in amazement.<\/p>\n
