It’s “Breakfast Club Day”!<\/p>\n
March 24th is that infamous day when The Breakfast Club was formed during their Saturday detention.\u00a0 One of the greatest movies to come from the 80’s.\u00a0 Another John Hughes classic.\u00a0 Still loved.\u00a0 Still appreciated.\u00a0 Staring Molly Ringwald, Anthony Michael Hall, Judd Nelson, Emilio Estevez, and Ally Sheedy.<\/p>\n
It was this day.\u00a0 A Saturday in 1984.\u00a0 A princess, a brain, a criminal, an athlete, and a basket case all came together for detention and the movie is what happens in that detention.\u00a0 How these very different characters actually came together, and came to understand each other.\u00a0 They were strangers.\u00a0 Didn’t even know or like each other.\u00a0 But by the end of the day, they would never be the same.<\/p>\n
The movie has been praised for it’s honest depiction of teenagers and probably one of the biggest reasons it’s still relatable today.\u00a0 My 19-year-old loved it so much she’s got the movie poster on her bedroom wall.\u00a0 \u00a0The movie shows just how hard it is to be a teenager, trying to be understood and trying to fit in and find a place.\u00a0 To be seen.
\nIt’s honest and real.\u00a0 It’s why we love it so much.\u00a0 So today we celebrate “Breakfast Club Day”.<\/p>\n

You see us as a brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess and a criminal. Correct? That’s the way we saw each other at 7:00 this morning. We were brainwashed.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
