So moms and dads, if you want to help them ace their exams, remind them of these tips&#8230;<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Create your own study guide.<\/strong>\u00a0While many teachers provide a study guide, creating your own can help you understand the material better.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ask Questions.\u00a0<\/strong>Your teachers are there to help! Ask them questions regarding the material and the exam so that you\u2019re prepared for the exam.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Go to the Review Session.\u00a0<\/strong>Review sessions\u00a0 can give up\u00a0important info\u00a0on the exam format, what&#8217;s going to be\u00a0on the exam and more.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Start Early.\u00a0<\/strong>If you always start ahead of schedule, you\u2019ll never be cramming the night before an exam.\u00a0And it&#8217;s\u00a0almost always a better outcome!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Organize a group study session.\u00a0<\/strong>Studying with peers can really help&#8230;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Study things not on the Study Guide.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Take Breaks.\u00a0<\/strong>You can&#8217;t memorize or\u00a0understand all the material at once. Balance &amp; break times to recharge and relax.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Stay well-rested.\u00a0<\/strong>Get a good nights sleep.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Create a study schedule &#8211; and follow it.\u00a0<\/strong>Then you can keep track of what you\u2019ve accomplished instead of\u00a0 getting overwhelmed.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prioritize your study time.\u00a0<\/strong>Evaluate all of your exams to figure out which ones bear more weight!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Study for the style of exam.\u00a0<\/strong>If it\u2019s multiple choice, you\u2019ll need to know definitions and concepts. Essay exams, you need to know everything and be able to give\u00a0examples.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Quiz yourself.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Meet with your teacher.\u00a0<\/strong>You might get\u00a0helpful hints for what to study and ways to prepare for the exam.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Reorganize your notes.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Pace yourself.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Teach classmates.\u00a0<\/strong>Learning by teaching really works! If you have a study buddy and explain concepts to one another, you&#8217;re actually\u00a0re-learning the material all over again.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Make it fun.\u00a0<\/strong>It&#8217;s easier to focus if you adapt to studying by quizzing yourself, creating acronyms or rewarding yourself for a job well done. Create a game plan &#8211; literally &#8211; that allows you to accomplish tasks and be rewarded for each.
