I know it’s not a question everyone can say yes to.\u00a0 But do you remember being pregnant?\u00a0 How you felt?\u00a0 What you wore?<\/p>\n

I do.\u00a0 First of all, let me say I absolutely LOVED being pregnant.\u00a0 I loved every stage of it.\u00a0 From the day it was confirmed to the day my babies were born.\u00a0 But I don’t ever remember feeling or looking as glamourous as some celebs tend to look.<\/p>\n

I look at the pictures of Rihanna and think, “wow she looks amazing” and then I think “I NEVER looked like that!”\u00a0 I wore what fit, and mostly clothes given to me by someone else who had been through it.\u00a0 I appreciated all of it.\u00a0 \u00a0But it was never glamourous by any means.<\/p>\n

Being pregnant is an amazing thing.\u00a0 How lucky are we to be able to carry a baby.\u00a0 \u00a0Hard to describe the feeling. The kicking. The movements.\u00a0 All amazing.<\/p>\n

But the longer the pregnancy goes on, the bigger we get, the more uncomfortable, and I don’t know about you but I wore what fit and stopped caring about looking good.\u00a0 It was all about being comfortable.\u00a0 \u00a0Or trying to be.<\/p>\n

I look at Rihanna and think “she’s gorgeous!”\u00a0 and I see her pictures shared on line.\u00a0 \u00a0Looking so good. All fashionable.\u00a0 Style.\u00a0 Elegance.\u00a0 She poses and shows off her expanding belly.\u00a0 And then I think,\u00a0 all I felt was huge, awkward, uncomfortable and far from glamourous.\u00a0 (smile) I just want to see her in an oversize dress, or to throw on a pair of those stretchy maternity pants. Just once.\u00a0 Sad that she can’t tie her own shoe. You know, like the rest of us.\u00a0 Eating caramel dip out of the container.\u00a0 Needing someone to rub her back and feet and tell her she’s pretty when she doesn’t feel it. (smile)<\/p>\n

I’m not complaining – sometimes I miss that I will never have that feeling again. Of being pregnant.<\/p>\n

What were your pictures like? Did you still dress up?\u00a0 Did you still feel like yourself?\u00a0 \u00a0Am I the only one that might be a little angry and a lot jealous looking at the pictures of Rihanna right now?\u00a0 And really just wishing to see a more “real” photo?<\/p>\n

Come on Rihanna.<\/p>\n
