Back to work is a challenge after a full weeks vacation but it does feel good.\u00a0 \u00a0Back to work refreshed, re-energized and five pounds heavier. Signs of a great vacation, right?<\/p>\n

What makes up a great vacation to you?<\/p>\n

Sleeping in?\u00a0 Time away from home?\u00a0 Sunshine?\u00a0 Beaches?\u00a0 Good food.\u00a0 Good company.<\/p>\n

I cleaned like a maniac on Monday and loved every minute of it.\u00a0 My kids were actually concerned, checking on me every few hours “Are you okay? ”\u00a0 \u00a0Yup.\u00a0 Let me and my duster be.\u00a0 I’m on a mission.\u00a0 I cleaned and organized.\u00a0 My home office has been deconstructed so now it’s just my scrapbook room.\u00a0 And record listening room.\u00a0 Reorganized.<\/p>\n

Sadly by Tuesday, the results are less noticeable but I know it happened, so I think that’s what counts.<\/p>\n

There was shopping.\u00a0 Great deals on gardening stuff right now.\u00a0 \u00a0Added a few more plants to my collection.\u00a0 \u00a0We visited with family and celebrated birthdays.\u00a0 \u00a0When you haven’t seen someone in three years, change is noticeable.\u00a0 Especially when it comes to kids.<\/p>\n

I hit the Farmers Market on Saturday – corn is in season!\u00a0 So are sweet peas and cantaloupe.\u00a0 Very exciting. You think I’m kidding, but I’m not.\u00a0 My favourite time of year. All the fresh fruits and veggies.\u00a0\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

I discovered a new favourite flavour of potato chip – dill pickle meets white cheddar. Umm, no words.\u00a0 Just FANTASTIC flavour.\u00a0 And yes I ate the whole bag.\u00a0 \u00a0I ate ice cream cones and binge watched The Lincoln Lawyer – GREAT series.\u00a0 I borrowed a new book from the library – “Where the Crawdads Sing” at Sarah’s recommendation.\u00a0 “Read the book before you go see the movie.”\u00a0 So I’m doing that.<\/p>\n

Our family ventured to Grand Bend yesterday and hit the Pinery Flea Market.\u00a0 First time in three years and it felt good to be back. It was super busy and there were lots of treasures just waiting to be found.<\/p>\n

\"\"I was more than excited to find an Elvis Presley record and have been playing it. A lot. All the big songs that were featured in the new Elvis movie.\u00a0 Got to chat with someone who is a local musician who made a point of going to Graceland and says the experience is like no other.<\/p>\n

No beach.\u00a0 No big getaway.\u00a0 \u00a0But it was so nice.<\/p>\n
